About
ABISA Support
ABISA Support is a care provider located in Leicestershire, dedicated to offering the highest quality of care and support within the community. We specialize in delivering care and support to individuals dealing with mental health issues, autism, learning disabilities, and behavioural challenges. Our services are delivered in the homes of the individuals we support, ensuring their comfort. Our steadfast dedication lies in empowering our clients to foster independent thinking and action. We accomplish this by upholding the REACH standards, crafted to unlock their complete potential through our focused assistance.
ABISA Support is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a service provider that offers care and support to individuals living in their own homes, the homes of their families, or supported living accommodations within the community.
Our mission is to provide exceptional services customized to each individual's requirements. We strive to nurture independence in those under our care, encouraging them to think independently and act autonomously. We advocate for the idea of taking calculated risks within an empowering environment that enables individuals to achieve as much as they can on their own with the appropriate level of support.
Making a Referral
Please contact Austin Amorighoye, Referrals Manager, to discuss any clients or to make a referral. We can then arrange a comprehensive assessment by qualified staff. You will be kept updated every step of the way.
We typically receive referrals from hospitals, private individuals, secure units, and local authorities.
Accommodation
Service users will be supported in their own homes, family home, or supported living accommodation with their own tenancy.
Our Ethos
ABISA Support offers an innovative blend of traditional and modern care approaches, creating a holistic environment that empowers service users to achieve their goals. Our main aim is to assist people to transition from psychiatric hospitals, medium secure units, or residential care homes to live in the community. Our personalised, targeted support prioritises the well-being of service users, encouraging them to embrace reasonable risk-taking while upholding their privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment.
Benefits
Clinical Commissioning Groups and Local Authorities are enabled to transfer the management and delivery of health and social care packages, with varying levels of complexity, to ABISA support in their role as a supported living service provider. This reduces cost, minimises delays, and promotes a pathway that supports the service user.
Service users’ benefit from increased choice, control, and independence in their daily lives through the provision of trained support workers. Assistance can be provided with all aspects of daily life including the utilisation of personal budgets, arranging transport. Each package is discussed and tailored to the individual.
Funding
The referring authority will have responsibility for the cost of care and support services. Payments can be made directly, or service user may make payments to ABISA Limited through their individual budget, by direct payment or private funding.
